This course covers both the pre-writing work that supports the development of successful proposal strategy and winning themes in addition to writing the most critical sections of the proposal document. By completing the course, you will be able to write more easier, quicker, and even more enjoyable. You will be able to develop and write polished content in terms of completeness, clarity, and persuasiveness that will drastically increase your probabilities to win.
Throughout the course, the trainer will use templates of guided questions, checklists, and written sections of real-life proposals. Our online training is interactive, personal, and fun combining trainer-led live-sessions with closely guided homework assignments and quizzes.

Speaker/s
Alaa Shaheen trains at the American University in Cairo and at the German Institute for Academic Exchange (DAAD) MENA regional office. He is a certified trainer from the International Labor Organization. He teaches courses in business development, proposal writing, fundraising, monitoring, evaluation, and learning. Engineer Alaa has a M.Sc. in Project Management from Brighton University, United Kingdom, 1996, and a B.Sc. in Construction Engineering from the American University in Cairo, 1994.
Alaa has served for 15 years as the Near East Marketing Director for AECOM, U.S. based global engineering and international development firm. He has practiced and acted as Client Account Manager, Capture Manager, Proposal Manager and Proposal Coordinator for several winning proposals worth 150+ Million US$ of international development projects funded by donors funding agencies, international organizations, and international private sector companies.
