Rethinking Nonprofit Post-pandemic: Projecting the Nonprofit Sector Following the COVID-19 Pandemic
Details
The COVID-19 pandemic had a dire impact on the global economy. With the closure of many businesses, workers, particularly those in the informal sector, were left with no stable source of income thus significantly increasing their vulnerability. As a result, the demand for nonprofit services has significantly increased while resources remain the same. Many NGOs have changed the way in which they operate and serve their communities: the means for securing funds, the shift to remote working, the cancelation of large gatherings, etc.
The purpose of the webinar is to further discuss the impact of the pandemic on the nonprofit sector particularly those operating in fields deemed “sensitive” such as SGBV and protection. Furthermore, the webinar will push the audience to imagine how the nonprofit sector will operate following the pandemic through multiple proposed scenarios.
Attendees of this webinar will learn about:
- Different funding strategies in the lights of the COVID-19 pandemic.
- The efficient working modalities adapted during the pandemic and discuss whether these modalities will remain following the pandemic or NGOs will go back to their traditional way of operating.
We empower individuals and strengthen organizations to design, deliver and evaluate projects that create meaningful benefits, profitable and sustainable growth for themselves, their clients, project’s beneficiaries and stakeholders alike.
